Suzanne Suissa
Born in Morocco, Suzanne is one of 11 children was trained initially as a seamstress. She moved with her husband to Montreal, Canada in the 1960s where they raised five children. Armed with a vast knowledge of traditional Moroccan recipes passed down from her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Suzanne regularly visits her son in Los Angeles during the summer where her ancient Moroccan recipes are served up at Shabbat dinners to the Pico-Robertson Jewish community.
